Open Positions

The Stone County Health Department is seeking an experienced and visionary Public Health Director to lead departmental operations and advance the health of our county. The Director will oversee programs, budgets, and personnel; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; and collaborate with local partners to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills, along with expertise in public health principles, program management, and fiscal oversight. A Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred, with demonstrated experience in public health leadership and team management.
